Most of all l am so impressed at how prompt you were to address my enquiry and complete the work as promised.An excellent skilled craftsman. I have experienced so many broken promises of work to start or be completed waiting 6 months to a year that it has been great to find such a reliable trades person.

Richard Dolman took on the job of building a dry stone wall and enlarging a patio with ceramic tiles. He quoted a keen price and time which he kept to without cutting any corners. He clearly took pleasure from producing work of an exceptional standard and is thoroughly recommended.

We lost a length of high wall in the recent rains. Richard came very promptly and send his quote by return. He arrived exactly as promised, keeping us fully informed, and did a superb job. Richard was recommended to us by friends who spoke highly of him and we are very grateful! We had some rotting wood, including that on a gable, the replacement of was somewhat complicated. Richard undertook a thorough inspection, gave a good, reasoned account of what work was needed, when he would do it and what it would cost. It all happened as planned and we are very happy.

Richard came immediately to inspect our front wall following a vehicle collision and advised on its safety. He followed this with a prompt quote, which we accepted. Once the repair started he finished it to our complete satisfaction, well within time and on budget. The wall looks great. We would highly recommend him.

After contacting 5 local drystone wallers for an insurance quote, Richard was the only one who came promptly and gave a written quote as requested. He got the job! He soon carried out the work of repairing our walls to our entire satisfaction. He worked steadfastly and tidily and coped magnificently with other workmen on site being in his way and also being surrounded by the 'Hunt' ! He is also a really nice guy to work with and we would definitely use his services again in the future.

Following an accident with a delivery lorry my wall was knocked down for 3 mtrs. Richard gave me a very quick and competitive quote and carried the work out over the weekend as the wall posed a significant risk. Richard has worked for me on two occasions in late 2012 and again this year. Both jobs have been carried out professionally and in an extremely competent manner. Richard is a tidy worker who arrives when he says he will and gets on with the job. The work is completed thoughtfully to a very high standard, which is particularly important to me as my house was built in 1860. I would recommend Richard to anyone in fact I have already recommended him to a family member.

Richard repointed & capped a large, ~3m/10ft x 15m, section of red brick wall at one side of our house. He turned up on the agreed date, on time and completed the job to schedule, and tidied up after himself. Price and workmanship excellent and on top of that Richard was/is thoroughly pleasurable to work with. We'll be engaging his services again without hesitation for the other side wall of our garden. Definitely recommend his workmanship and business relationship.

I asked Richard Dolman to build a wall in the River Avon as it flows past my garden and to landscape the bank. The site was difficult to access and all materials had to be barrowed from the road and across a low stone wall. Richard made light of the problems and was enormously flexible when I changed the requirement as we went along. The project was finished on time and on budget. I am delighted with the result and judging by the innumerable positive comments made by members of the public, who can see his work from the footpath, the project was complete success.
